Cardano's US$10,000 fund is not an applicant payment
The Cardano Foundation's August update says its Impact Pot financed eight proposals totaling US$10,000 across ten ambassadors. The program guide describes the pot as support for projects proposed by ambassadors. Neither source states a payment for joining, an individual award amount, or an October application window.
The Cardano hub still points to that guide and its interest form. A September call recap welcomes four new ambassadors, showing the program is active. It does not state how or when a new public applicant can join. The linked Typeform's current acceptance state was not inspected. Cardano stays outside the confirmed-open table.
What to check before you act
Ask for the next public intake date, selection process, and any personal reward rule before spending time building a submission. An interest form is not a current paid offer. The 20 open routes in this radar are unchanged and keep their own Last checked dates.
If you need specified pay, compare a job rather than assuming ambassador project funding is income. The Solana Network jobs board listed an Orca community-support role with a USD 10k–20k yearly range on 6 Oct. That listing is a different, full-time role; we did not verify its vacancy or actual pay.
