Union Alpha/Summary
Union Alpha · last saved source review 12 Oct 2026, 06:57 UTC

Former Union Alpha routes are not current Pareto routes

Then: OpenRouter offered a free stealth/union-alpha preview; OpenCode Go also named Union Alpha. Now: the OpenRouter preview has ended, and the former Go alias is absent from inspected current Go sources. Not equivalent: older paid Pareto and the separate, mutable 26.10 Preview are distinct listings. Neither former alias is pinned to either paid route or a fixed model version.

This is a dated source-review decision, not a live access test. The latest saved primary-source cutoff is ; no October 14 source finding is claimed. No old-ID or inference request was made in R5 or the October audits.

unbiased/paretoOlder paid OpenRouter routeSeparately listed at $2.50/M input, $7.50/M output and $0.25/M cache read; 262,144 context. These are listed terms, not an observed charge.Evaluate only in a separate authorized study. No transaction, numeric route quota or equivalence to a former alias was established.
unbiased/pareto-26.10-previewSeparate mutable OpenRouter previewListed as an Oct 1 next-version preview: $0.80/M input, $3.20/M output, $0.03/M cache read and 1,048,576 context.Consider only as its own named route. Its metadata and preliminary scores do not describe September Union Alpha or replace older paid Pareto.

Listings are as observed by the October 12 source review. No route-specific numeric quota was found for these routes; per_request_limits: null does not mean unlimited. Published listing prices are not tested charges.

Research status: R5 closed routine monitoring on 24 Sep 2026. The Oct 9, 10 and 12 reviews found no reopening gate. Reopen only on a qualifying primary-source mapping, access listing, immutable benchmark result or material route-policy change. R5 decision.

Evidence boundaries

  • The provider’s Pareto 26.9 and 26.10 benchmark figures are not Union Alpha results. Read their dated scopes.
  • The public eval repository root did not show results/ on Oct 12, but direct complete tree, tags and releases inventory was uninspectable. That does not prove global artifact absence. Read the scoped record.

R1–R5 establish the launch and wind-down record. The October audits preserve later source observations; they did not reopen monitoring or test an endpoint.
