What changed in the public listings
OpenRouter lists unbiased/pareto-26.10-preview, released October 1, as a separate mutable preview of the next Pareto version. Its listing points to 26.9 for stable behavior. The older paid unbiased/pareto is still separately listed. No inspected official source says the preview replaced or retired the older route, maps either former Union Alpha alias to 26.10, or pins a former alias to a fixed Pareto version, configuration and date. R5 comparison
| Field | October 9 finding | Evidence boundary |
|---|---|---|
Former OpenRouter stealth/union-alpha | The historical page still attributes its ended preview to Pareto by Unbiased; exact old ID is absent from the inspected public catalog. | Listing evidence, not an old-ID request, permanent unavailability proof or fixed-version map. O-S01 · O-S02 |
| Former OpenCode Go alias | No match in inspected Go docs, public catalog or changelog. | Source omission is not an entitlement result or Pareto mapping. Go docs · catalog · changelog (O-S05) |
Older paid unbiased/pareto | Still separately listed at R5’s $2.50/M input, $7.50/M output and $0.25/M cache read. | Neither the route’s catalog slug nor rolling availability proves old-alias identity, request success or retirement by 26.10. O-S03 |
| 26.10 Preview | Newly listed, separate and explicitly mutable. | Not a former-alias re-listing or a stable historical-version link. O-S04 |
Route-specific limits remain unresolved
| Surface | Established | Unknown |
|---|---|---|
| Former OpenRouter and Go aliases | No numeric route-specific limit on inspected current sources; zero direct requests. | Old-ID behavior, entitlement and quota. |
| Older paid Pareto and 26.10 Preview on OpenRouter | Catalog per_request_limits: null; generic platform limits vary by account, key and provider. | Numeric route-specific/provider cap. null does not mean unlimited. O-S02 · O-S09 |
| Direct Unbiased platform | Current plan page lists Personal 20 RPM/25M weekly tokens, Personal Max 60 RPM/300M weekly and Team 300 RPM/no weekly token cap. | Version served and further account throttling. These plan figures are not OpenRouter or old-alias limits; no dated R5 price baseline was saved. O-S07 |
Benchmark and policy gate
The revised provider model card reports preliminary DeepSWE results for 26.10 Preview (69.9%, $0.24/task, October 1) and 26.9 (70.0%, $0.29/task, September 20), with validation, denominator and cost caveats. Neither is a Union Alpha score. The public repository contains configurable harness code, not an inspected immutable run package or independent reproduction. The releases page showed no release in a browser cache three days old; result-tree URLs were not inspectable. Non-inspectability is not proof of absence. O-S06 · O-S10–11
The current Unbiased Data Policy applies to Unbiased’s own service; it does not retroactively define the historical OpenRouter preview’s policy. R5 lacks a full versioned direct-platform policy baseline, so this audit cannot demonstrate a policy change. No inspected first-party source establishes a material like-for-like change to the older OpenRouter paid route’s price, numeric quota, data terms or retirement status. O-S08 · O-S03
Gate result
- Fixed linkage: not met; neither former alias was tied to a named immutable Pareto build, configuration and date.
- Raw benchmark or independent reproduction: not verified on inspected surfaces.
- Official former-alias re-listing: not found; 26.10 Preview is a different route.
- Material older-route policy change: not established by a like-for-like first-party comparison.
Method limit: browser-visible excerpts and scoped absence notes, not raw HTTP archives. The repository result tree could not be inspected. No request was authorized or sent. The full source ledger and capture notes are retained in this run’s research record.
