USDe Risk Audit / Debt, valuation and repayment
More owed, not demonstrated paid
Two token debts have grown. The collateral still has positive accepted-value headroom, and the lending reserves hold substantial cash. None of those observations settles the borrower’s remaining obligations.
The measured account remains open in USDT and USDC. At Ethereum block 26,196,047 it owes 5,871,988.139231 USDT and 10,011.072984 USDC. Its collateral claim still represents 5,359,416.826188716790252832 sUSDe. The health factor is 1.050443628330457118, above one at the accepted marks. This is neither a default finding nor evidence of a completed, fully financed exit. Inspect the dated position.
The earlier partial refinancing did pay the original USDT reserve and return a temporary USDC advance. It also left a persistent USDC loan. The subsequent evidence must follow both surviving debts, not treat return of the temporary principal as the final payment. This chapter joins the later 7 October cutoff to the new 15 October endpoint, preserving what each observation can establish.
There are two useful advances. First, the 7 October comparison shows that both token obligations increased even while their aggregate dollar mark fell. Second, the October 15 comparison adds matching endpoint scaled balances, current debt indices and separately measured reserve cash. Together they make the ongoing financing exposure more concrete without supplying an intervening payment ledger, a complete financing commitment or realized borrower return. Quantity and price; reserve cash versus borrower funds.
One account, two owed tokens, several distinct clocks
The account is 0xea1776733cc969df4ff004a9e1a2d87f5b60add4 in Ethereum Aave V3. Its measured exposure is a receipt over sUSDe collateral and debt in two separate reserves. A dollar-valued aggregate helps calculate collateral adequacy; it does not change the loan assets into an interchangeable dollar payment. The new reserve-ID lookups identify USDC, USDT and sUSDe for the active positions. That supports this measured Aave perimeter, not a complete balance sheet of the address’s beneficial owner.
The earlier October 7 chapter records the repayment event at 05:44:35 UTC and a later state at 14:04:11 UTC. The additional October 7 observations below are a different cutoff, 16:21:23 UTC. They are not a replacement timestamp for either earlier record. The October 15 endpoint is 06:13:35 UTC; individual source retrievals generally have date precision, not exact wall-clock request times.

Direct zero balances are address-, asset- and block-specific. They do not establish absent wealth, facilities or sponsorship elsewhere. Free USDe is a potentially useful asset, but it is not subtracted at par from either owed token without a supported conversion. Similarly, the aSUSDe receipt, its sUSDe underlying and the prospective USDe claim are stages of one exposure, not three independent buffers. Field definitions; exact selected data.
The zero cooldown amount and end timestamp identify no running request in the sampled fields at either cutoff. Reading an 86,400-second duration does not start a one-day funded waiting period. Elapsed time since a research observation does not cause an unrequested release to mature. An actual later release would still need a beneficiary, a delivered asset and any subsequent owed-token conversion.
A paid temporary lender can coexist with two persistent creditors
The financial starting point remains the matched transaction at 7 October, 05:44:35 UTC, Ethereum block 26,138,499. Its transaction identity links the previously inspected transfer and lending-event records. This chapter does not present those historical logs as new October 15 activity or as a separately obtained full receipt.
| Party or resource | Supported movement | What survived |
|---|---|---|
| Temporary USDC provider | 10,000 USDC arrived and the same principal returned later in the transaction. | No independent 10,000-USDC final buffer was created. A full fee statement was not established. |
| Original USDT reserve | 10,006.329226 USDT arrived, matching the repayment event. | Most of the original USDT debt remained. |
| Persistent USDC reserve | 10,000 USDC was advanced to return the temporary principal. | A new continuing USDC debt remained. |
| Account’s own USDT | The conversion delivered 10,001.640594 USDT; 4.688632 USDT of own cash completed the debt-service payment. | Allocation between original principal and accrued interest was not established. |
The 4.688632 USDT is own cash used for debt service, not a fee. A more specific allocation to original principal is not established by the matched cash records. The amount is unchanged; uncertainty concerns how the old loan allocates the payment between principal and accumulated interest.
The favorable result is substantive: this account accessed funding and serviced part of an actual obligation. The remaining exposure is equally substantive: returning the temporary provider’s principal did not repay the persistent USDC reserve, and the original USDT obligation was not closed. A later lender supplying more repayment cash would acquire another claim that must stay in the analysis until settled. The documented same-transaction return requirement explains the temporary mechanism; it is not evidence of a multi-day facility for the whole account.
An open, adequately collateralized ordinary loan is not automatically overdue. The public borrowing description does not impose a fixed ordinary repayment period merely because calendar time has passed. Neither the account’s purpose nor a private deadline is inferred here. The appropriate supported conclusion is open debt at the measured cutoff, not default, inevitable impairment or a guaranteed capacity to keep financing indefinitely. Aave’s borrowing and repayment description.
The amount owed and its dollar mark can move in opposite directions
The additional October 7 comparison
Between the saved 05:44:35 UTC post-event state and the 16:21:23 UTC cutoff, USDT debt rose by 576.905243 USDT and USDC debt by 0.583045 USDC. The accepted dollar debt nevertheless fell by $733.93437306. The earlier post-event snapshot includes both debt prices, so this comparison does not fill the separate 14:04:11 snapshot’s missing USDC price from another date.
At the old prices, increased token quantities contributed +$577.39212882012106. Changed prices applied to the later quantities contributed −$1,311.32650188718654. The price effect outweighed the additional owed units. That is not token repayment. Accepted collateral value also fell by $1,103.45033035, leaving gross accepted equity lower by $369.51595729, rather than establishing a gain from the lower debt display.
The October 15 comparison
From the 7 October, 16:21:23 cutoff to 15 October, 06:13:35 UTC, debt rose by 5,243.585638 USDT and 10.489937 USDC. The accepted USDT price declined from $0.99961000 to $0.99891000; the accepted USDC price rose from $0.99984216 to $0.99987936. These are account-valuation inputs, not fresh market-sale quotations or a conclusion about permanent stablecoin impairment.
More token units can coexist with a lower dollar debt display
Endpoint identity: change in accepted debt = change in token quantities valued at earlier prices + changed prices applied to later quantities + the separate aggregation-rounding residual.
| Comparison | Quantity effect at old prices | Price effect on later quantities | Reported debt change |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7 October 05:44:35 → 16:21:23 UTC | +$577.39212882012106 | −$1,311.32650188718654 | −$733.93437306 |
| 7 October 16:21:23 → 15 October 06:13:35 UTC | +$5,252.02892086952392 | −$4,110.01928554669520 | +$1,142.00963532 |
The October 15 decomposition leaves a reported-minus-components residual of approximately −$0.00000000282872; the corresponding October 7 residual is approximately +$0.00000000706548. They are aggregation-rounding residuals, not fees, forgiveness or evidence of missing reserves. Token repayment quantities remain separate from the accepted dollar total. Selected endpoint and reconciliation data.
Accepted collateral value rises from $6,706,728.60765536 at the later October 7 cutoff to $6,708,678.25630840 on October 15. Accepted debt rises from $5,874,455.52777208 to $5,875,597.53740740. Gross marked equity therefore improves by $807.63901772, to $833,080.71890100. Gross marked equity is not realized return. Inception costs, outside holdings, gross cash flows, final sale prices and attributable expenses are not incorporated into a net-return account.
Matching scaled balances explains an endpoint—not every action between endpoints
Variable-debt balances represent accumulated obligations. Their scaled quantities are bookkeeping measures, not available cash or separately established inception principal. On October 15, the saved October 7 cutoff’s raw scaled balances are unchanged: 4,701,403,907,529 for USDT and 7,984,051,682 for USDC. Newly read normalized debt indices reproduce the current accumulated amounts using a 10²⁷ fixed-point scale. Tokenization and normalized-index field descriptions.
| Debt token | Unchanged scaled raw units | Normalized index, ray | Accumulated token balance |
|---|---|---|---|
| USDT | 4,701,403,907,529 | 1,248,986,101,752,954,402,502,066,583 | 5,871,988.139231 USDT |
| USDC | 7,984,051,682 | 1,253,883,790,110,832,996,136,536,181 | 10,011.072984 USDC |
The upward-rounding increments are about 0.000000246975 USDT and 0.000000533069 USDC. They are not economic fees. The supported finding is that no net reduction appears in the observed scaled position, while its larger accumulated endpoint amounts are consistent with the returned indices. Unchanged endpoint scaled balances do not prove zero gross flows. Borrowing and repayment at different times could offset in scaled units; equal direct cash endpoints could similarly conceal arrivals and payments.
The history has two different coverage boundaries. Two successful, contiguous October 7 Pool queries covered blocks 26,138,500–26,141,669, a total of 3,170 blocks, and returned no events matching the account in the specified indexed position. That filter covers the ordinary account-indexed borrowing, repayment, withdrawal and supply families used in the comparison, not all event layouts or contracts. Liquidation events index the borrower differently. The result does not prove that every collateral or outside balance was constant throughout the interval.
There is no successfully covered post-cutoff history through October 15. The 54,378 blocks after block 26,141,669 through block 26,196,047 must not be described as an empty event window. The present evidence does not establish gross new borrowing, gross repayment, intermediate collateral movements or full expenses across that period. A previously unavailable earlier scaled-state comparison also remains unavailable; the index analysis uses the successfully observed 16:21:23 cutoff, not an inferred value at the earlier refinancing event.
The creditors hold cash, but that cash is not assigned to the borrower
New October 15 observations place direct underlying balances, supplier claims and variable-debt totals at the previously identified Ethereum reserve endpoints into one same-block comparison. This is favorable evidence against a blanket assertion that an open selected loan means the relevant reserves have no cash. It is not evidence that the borrower owns those balances or can draw an admitted full-position facility.
Cash at a lending reserve is not the borrower’s repayment budget
| Quantity | USDT reserve | USDC reserve |
|---|---|---|
| Underlying cash at aToken endpoint | 356,948,571.874891 USDT | 138,399,681.708339 USDC |
| Nominal aToken supplier claims | 2,820,750,527.779874 USDT-equivalent units | 2,379,612,178.095765 USDC-equivalent units |
| Variable-debt total supply | 2,463,913,169.541088 USDT | 2,241,362,700.729523 USDC |
| Held cash / nominal supplier claims | 12.6543828800% | 5.8160604061% |
| Selected debt / reserve variable debt | 0.2383196052% | 0.0004466512% |
| Cash + variable debt − aToken claims | +111,213.636105 USDT | +150,204.342097 USDC |
The cash addresses are 0x23878914efe38d27c4d67ab83ed1b93a74d4086a for USDT and 0x98c23e9d8f34fefb1b7bd6a91b7ff122f4e16f5c for USDC. Current underlying-asset getters agree with the cash-token identities. The held-cash percentages are neither recovery probabilities nor fractions that each supplier is guaranteed to receive. Most nominal claims are not represented by that cash alone; loans remain separate receivables.
The positive remainder in the last row is deliberately left unreconciled. This abbreviated screen does not include every treasury accrual, virtual-balance item or other reserve-accounting component. It is not excess capital, a fee receipt or a buffer that may be donated to the selected borrower. The small selected-account shares of reserve-wide variable debt also temper systemic claims: a material financing problem for one account is not proof that it dominates the reserve. Reserve and view-contract documentation.
A repayment can improve supplier liquidity—when it is genuinely independent
Under an explicitly hypothetical full payment of the selected USDT debt, with no simultaneous withdrawal, new borrowing, fee or other use, USDT reserve cash would rise to 362,820,560.014122 USDT, an increase of about 1.6450515850%. The separate USDC case would reach 138,409,692.781323 USDC, about 0.0072334509% more cash. These are conditional conservation examples, not observed arrivals or facility commitments.
A borrowing or supplier withdrawal from the same reserve must also be debited. The earlier refinance illustrates why: the original USDT reserve received cash, while a persistent draw consumed USDC from a different reserve. Return of temporary USDC did not replenish that persistent creditor. Repayment changes the form of an existing claim; it is not a second backing asset on top of the same receivable.
The collateral endpoint separately holds 104,623,942.252397797865297811 sUSDe, exceeding this one account’s nominal collateral claim. That is favorable underlying-quantity evidence, not permission to release the entire position with both debts still open. It does not guarantee all concurrent collateral claims, reserve future sale prices or deliver either owed token.
A full repayment requirement is not a committed advance
For the specific sequence repay both measured debts before full collateral release, crediting only direct cash in each owed token, the October 15 requirements are 5,871,983.138477 USDT and 10,011.072984 USDC. They exclude later accrual and external expenses. They are not a universal minimum outside loan, an executable payoff invoice, a future debt quote or a financing commitment. The units remain separate.
A staged repayment, assets elsewhere, supported collateral conversion or genuinely admitted refinancing can change the sequence. The 23,908.467042095491407286 free USDe is not worthless simply because no new conversion is credited in this budget. It needs an adequately supported route or eligible redemption before it becomes spendable USDT or USDC. Any replacement funder must remain in the final ledger with its own repayment terms.
For each entity, network and asset, closing cash is opening cash plus arrivals, less payments and expenses. Equal opening and closing cash cannot identify all those terms separately. No new full receipt establishes attributable gas use, effective gas price, economic payer or reimbursement. The selected address’s zero native ETH balance on October 15 is not a zero cost estimate or proof that sponsorship does—or does not—exist.
The current USDC balance is 11.072984 USDC above the historical 10,000-USDC draw, but this is not a complete lifetime fee or interest statement. Its change from the separately observed October 7 cutoff is 10.489937 USDC, a different comparison. The full repayment claim, cash arrivals and expenses have to be reconstructed before an all-in return can be assigned. Another holder’s past fee-share mint, another product’s reward-conversion spread and a generic service charge are not substitutes for this account’s own costs.
Favorable headroom does not erase liquidation and financing risk
The current 90% borrowing ratio, 92% liquidation threshold and above-one health factor are real favorable observations at the accepted marks. The three resulting margins use the same collateral and debt; adding them would count one position several times.
Three margins use the same collateral; none is a cash reserve
The measured health factor improves by about 0.000101126 from the later October 7 cutoff. Under fixed debt quantities and accepted debt prices, the financial sensitivity places the health-factor boundary at about a 4.80212617% accepted-collateral decline, while gross accepted equity reaches zero only after about 12.41795607%, before expenses. The hypothetical 5% row therefore crosses the collateral-adequacy boundary while gross marked equity remains positive. It is not a prediction that USDe’s spot price moves by that amount, evidence of a realized loss, or a funded-liquidation result.
The corresponding October 7 analysis already showed this distinction: under its own fixed-debt 5% accepted-value scenario, health factor was approximately 0.997825377 with about $496,936.65 of positive gross accepted equity. That older row retains its October 7 inputs; it is not combined with the October 15 row as a cumulative stress.
There is also a favorable conditional countercase. A common factor affecting collateral valuation and the dominant USDT liability can partly offset rather than mechanically compound. Independent collateral and debt-price changes can instead be adverse. The applicable input relationships, caps and exceptional controls remain conditional where the prior deployment investigation did not establish them. Financial consistency at normal endpoints is not an exceptional-safeguard certification. Control and contracts.
Patient unlevered holders, borrowers, original suppliers and replacement lenders face different deadlines. A temporary sale discount can make an immediate exit unattractive without proving impaired backing. Continued financing may allow recovery, but owed-token quantities can keep increasing. A genuine collateral impairment or inaccessible release can instead transfer loss to a lender whose claim cannot be realized. An accepted valuation that delays forced selling can protect the borrower in one case while leaving suppliers exposed in another. None of these conditional paths follows merely from the fact that the loan remains open.
What is newer here—and what remains at its earlier date
| Question | Supported result | Remaining boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Whole measured obligation | Both USDT and USDC debts remain positive on October 15 and reconcile to the accepted aggregate. | Not default, completed settlement, or a complete beneficial-owner liability inventory. |
| Change since the later October 7 cutoff | Both accumulated debts grew; endpoint scaled balances match; quantities and prices reconcile the changed dollar book. | No successful post-cutoff event coverage, full principal/interest allocation or gross cash-flow ledger. |
| Supplier resources | New same-block underlying cash, nominal claims and debt totals at two named reserves. | No borrower entitlement, complete reserve balance sheet or all-holder withdrawal guarantee. |
| Base funding | Earlier address-scoped balance and ownership findings remain useful. | No new Base state or sufficiently supported complete local funding; Ethereum reserve cash is not Base borrower cash. |
| Principal-token exit | The earlier million-PT routes, quantities and hypothetical 900,000-USDC comparisons retain their dates. | No newly measured final route, funded interval or executed payout. Do not add the hypothetical PT debt to this Aave account. |
| Selected shareholder | Positive October 2 ordinary admission and the later scoped observations remain preserved. | No new selected-holder net payment or attributable all-in expense; another holder’s payment does not establish this one. |
| Backing and controls | Earlier claim-to-cash and conditional authority/oracle analysis remain relevant foundations. | No fresh issuer portfolio, reserve coverage, legal recovery or exceptional-safeguard assurance. |
This keeps the whole-system question intact. The issuer’s backing and redemption chain, an integration’s valuation and funding conditions, and a creditor’s available cash are connected but distinct. The account’s collateral is not automatically an issuer reserve, and reserve USDT is not automatically the account’s property. Current Ethereum observations cannot be moved to Base by assumption. Backing and custody; claims and exits.
The financial investigation remains partial because final funding, sufficiently supported realization and attributable expense are unestablished—not because an ongoing loan must be forced to close to make research useful. A later zero debt balance would still need its cause explained: payment, claim settlement, liquidation or loss recognition are not the same outcome. A lower dollar mark would still need quantities and prices separated. A credible improvement would connect the relevant liability change to its asset, payer, recipient, time and remaining claim.

Dated numerical companion
Download the selected debt and reserve observations. This contains selected financial observations: endpoint quantities, units, clocks, reserve identities and the stated accounting comparisons. It is not a live feed or full transaction history. Integer and decimal strings retain precision; null means unestablished, not zero.
The October 15 state is Ethereum block 26,196,047, timestamp 06:13:35 UTC, with recorded hash 0xe35cccb5cae09b8a63f9d0b603870170513cf533aa2a58e68dd598894ff30e1e. The financial batches agree on their inner clock; later node heads do not replace that state. The hash witness is not independent finality certification. The earlier cutoff is block 26,141,669, 7 October at 16:21:23 UTC; its state hash remains unestablished in the supplied observations.
Accumulated debt, reserve IDs and account fields
Aave V3 tokenization and Pool documentation, inspected for the research on 7 and 15 October. These support the descriptions of debt, aToken claims, normalized indices and reserve-specific repayment. The account amounts come from the dated observations, not documentation examples. No complete deployment/source or exceptional-path assurance follows.
Reserve cash and accounting scope
Aave V3 reserve framework and view-contract documentation, inspected 15 October, explain the distinctions among held balances, nominal claims, debt and other accounting fields. They do not establish the ownership of funding for this borrower or fill the unreconciled reserve remainder.
Eligibility, ordinary loan duration and financial conditions
Health factor and liquidations, inspected 7 and 15 October, supports the financial eligibility relationship, not funded execution. The Aave FAQ, inspected 7 October, provides ordinary repayment and supplier-liquidity context; product-version differences are not silently imported into this V3 account. Morpho’s flash-loan description is used only for the temporary-principal distinction.
Events, clocks and expenses
The published Pool event interface, inspected 7 October, bounds the indexed-account query interpretation; a mutable interface is not a complete deployment match. The Ethereum JSON-RPC specification, inspected 7 and 15 October, distinguishes state blocks, logs and receipt fields. Gas documentation describes a separate ETH-denominated expense. None supplies the missing complete receipt or selected-party cost ledger.
Documentation inspection dates, returned chain timestamps and observation coverage are different clocks. The calculations establish consistency of saved financial quantities and assumptions, not every intervening action, consensus across providers, future liquidity or security. No new market-sale quotation, matched payment event or completed financing commitment is established by the October 15 evidence.
