USDe / understand the claim
Follow the dollar.
Then follow the exit.
What you own, who must pay, and when usable funds arrive are different questions.
RESEARCH 5 · 13 SEPTEMBER 2026
Off exchange does not mean ready to pay.
Separate custody can protect original assets while a settlement or release is still pending. The new investigation follows the provider conditions between a recorded balance and a usable payout; it does not establish a current Ethena shortfall.
Start with what you hold
| Position | Next condition | Holder consequence |
|---|---|---|
| Wallet USDe | An eligible issuer route or an available market buyer. | Custody protection is not automatic dollar redemption. Follow the direct route. |
| sUSDe / queued USDe | Staking claim, then a separate USDe exit. | A completed queue is not bank cash. Follow the queue. |
| A position with debt | Actual lender, valuation and liquidation rules. | A delay can matter before the eventual asset arrives. Follow the added layer. |
Keep the date attached to the evidence
The earlier control snapshot is Ethereum block 25,952,841, 11 September 2026 at 08:03:35 UTC. Its threshold, caps and cooldown are not refreshed by reading newer documentation. Current controller, staking, inventory and settlement checks remain open.
The latest listed assurance report could not be read in full. The new assurance discussion separates that limitation from a negative opinion; it does not invent one.
