How the launch desk judges GTA 6 signals

Fast answers are useful only when the evidence boundary stays visible.

Official commitment
Rockstar, Take-Two, a platform holder, or an official support page publishes a date, platform, or term. It tells us what the institution currently commits to; it is not a guarantee.
Material change
An authoritative source moves, narrows, expands, or withdraws a public target. The delta comes before the explanation.
Operational Store signal
An official Store page exposes a preload, edition, compatibility label, or regional unlock timestamp. It helps a reader plan, but Store metadata can change and does not prove delivery or transfer to another platform.
Launch-collateral signal
A soundtrack, physical product, localization package, preorder, accessory, or campaign rollout supports coordinated commercial activity. It can move confidence slightly, but it does not prove a finished build or freeze the date.
Confidence signal
An observation that supports, limits, or leaves confidence unchanged without settling the date. Converging listings and active logistics support an active plan; two previous delays limit confidence.
Reported context
A named outlet reports an interview, proceeding, local proposal, hardware market, or industry signal. It stays reported and contextual until an authoritative source makes a commitment.
Unofficial claim
A rumor, leak, community post, or anonymous report. We summarize relevant claims with source history, corroboration, missing evidence, verdict, and what would change it—without linking sensitive material or access routes.
Unknown
No checked source supports the answer yet. Unknown is a useful result, not an invitation to fill the gap with a guess.

We do not publish numeric release probabilities without a documented method and evidence base. We publish the smaller decision: trust, wait, buy, verify, or return for the next source-ranked update.
