Pool topic: Crypto ambassador programs. Question: Which crypto ambassador programs are genuinely open now, who can apply, and what work, rewards, deadlines and risks come with each opportunity?
ETC points: KYC before first redemption
ETC Grants DAO still invites applicants worldwide in English or Chinese. Its linked application shows a first step but a completed submission was not tested. A separate issuer redemption page says new ambassadors must pass one-time KYC before their first ETC point redemption. The linked KYC form did not load here; required documents and data handling remain unknown.
| Decision point | What the issuer says | What remains unverified |
|---|---|---|
| Fit | The English page lists community, student and content tracks. The Chinese page prefers content/KOL applicants with over 20,000 followers on one platform. | This is a track preference, not a universal cutoff. The English page omits it; selection practice is unknown. |
| Work and cutoff | One-month probation, then monthly contribution records for prior work by the 7th; review by the 21st. The redemption page says late records cannot be claimed retroactively. | Actual review, selected applicants and exceptions were not verified. |
| Reward and data | Issuer states 1 point = 1 ETC, subject to quarterly review, after probation and onboarding. New ambassadors need one-time KYC before first redemption. | No independent ETC payment was verified. The page’s 45 ETC spotlight is an issuer claim, not transaction proof; KYC fields and handler were not inspectable. |
Before applying, decide whether you would complete identity verification for a conditional token reward, and save the reporting dates. The open comparison remains 23 issuer-linked contributor routes. Only ETC was substantively rechecked on 24 Oct; use each row’s own date.
