Global Credits & Grants Radar/Stripe Atlas’s USD 2,500 fee credit does not pay the Atlas fee.

Stripe Atlas’s USD 2,500 credit will not pay your incorporation fee

Stripe Atlas offers USD 2,500 in Stripe product credits to companies it incorporates. Its fee-credit FAQ says the offer applies to Atlas companies incorporated on or after 16 October 2025. The credit appears automatically on the Atlas Stripe account and expires 365 days after incorporation or when used. It offsets eligible Stripe fees; it is not cash.

What the credit covers

Stripe lists fees on Payments, Connect, Billing, Tax, and Sigma among eligible uses. The FAQ excludes Atlas and registered-agent fees, as well as Crypto, Capital, Terminal devices, Link passthrough, PayPal fees, and professional services. The credit cannot be transferred to another Stripe account.

What you pay first

Atlas currently lists a USD 500 one-time Delaware incorporation charge, including the first year of registered-agent service, then USD 100 per year for that service. Those amounts are separate from the USD 2,500 fee credit. Atlas also describes a conditional way to get the USD 500 fee back after a USD 5,000 Stripe Treasury deposit; that is a separate condition, not what the fee credit pays.

If you already want Atlas to form a Delaware company and expect eligible Stripe fees within one year, the credit may reduce operating costs. Do not form a company because a credit headline looks larger than the setup fee. The reviewed credit pages do not establish whether a Delaware entity or a Stripe payments account fits your country, tax position, or legal needs. Check those points before paying.
