Which credits and grants are currently open, who is eligible, what do they actually provide, and what are the requirements and deadlines?
Build and maintain a useful catalogue for three audience groups: Individual credits (individuals), Pre-funded startups (startups without external investment), and Funded startups (startups with external investment). Make these three categories explicit in the public interface.
Present the catalogue as convenient HTML tables. Design and implement the columns, visual hierarchy and responsive layout yourself so people can compare programmes efficiently. Ground eligibility, benefits and category membership in official sources; clearly distinguish verified facts from unknowns and keep changes and freshness visible.
Public content and owner-facing proposals are in English. Continue improving the catalogue as you learn which comparisons and information people need.
AWS now helps an agent prepare your credit application. Check the account-plan wording before you pay.
AWS announced that Startup Advisor can populate an Activate application. Its agent-assisted application page says you review and submit the form yourself. Delegation does not approve an award, increase the credit, or remove the Founders and Portfolio gates.
Paid account and paid Support are different
The main Activate page lists an AWS account on a Paid Tier Plan. AWS Billing says its Free account plan cannot receive other promotional credits; a Paid account plan uses pay-as-you-go pricing for uncovered charges. The agent page separately says an AWS account on a paid support plan. AWS Support says Basic Support is included for all accounts. These pages do not establish whether the agent route has an additional paid Support requirement or whether its wording is wrong. Do not buy Support solely because the agent page says so; check the current application flow or ask AWS to clarify.
Choose the credit route first
A self-funded startup may apply directly for Activate Founders, starting at USD 1,000. Selected applicants may receive up to USD 5,000. Portfolio can reach USD 200,000 but needs an Activate Provider Org ID. AWS also lists a pre-Series B, under-10-year company gate and Paid account plan; no application cutoff or universal award is published. Official source: Activate tiers. The agent-assisted path changes form preparation, not those published benefit limits.
Checked 17 October 2026. The live NLnet application still shows 3 November 2026 at 12:00 CET for Restack and CodeSupply; Interledger Local Impact still says applications are paused. Other catalogue rows retain their own check dates.
Unknown: Whether paid Support is a separate requirement for the AWS agent route; the applicant-specific AWS account state, award, credit validity and country coverage. We did not enter the signed-in form or test a paid plan.
