CodeSupply still lists a 3 November deadline
NLnet’s live CodeSupply page still gives a first-call deadline of 3 November 2026 at 12:00 CET. It invites EUR 5,000–50,000 requests for open-source software supply-chain work. The application form is still available. This check found no change to the published deadline or request range.
Before writing
The form asks for a project summary, costed tasks, comparison with existing efforts, technical challenges and the people who will do the work. It says proposals and projects should be made by humans, with a link to NLnet’s current AI policy. A disclosure field on the form does not itself allow AI-written proposals; read the policy before drafting.
This is a specialised R&D grant, not general startup credit or advance cash. Check the eligibility rules, including project fit and European dimension, against your own team. The public pages do not establish that a particular proposal will be accepted or when that applicant would be paid.
Next check: Open the current call and form immediately before submission. If your project depends on an edge case in the AI policy or European-dimension rule, ask NLnet rather than infer approval from an open form.
