A 60–90 minute, draft-only test

Run a small experiment before you connect a real system.

A first experiment should reveal boundaries, ownership and failure handling—not prove that autonomous marketing is safe.

One shared safety pattern

  1. Use a fictional product brief, test credentials and a disposable data store.
  2. Make a draft: content calendar, draft email or a reviewable CRM-segment report.
  3. Deliberately create one harmless failure and inspect the log, retry path or visible error.
  4. Review output with a named human. Do not send, post, mutate CRM records or spend money.
  5. Delete test data and credentials; record what an operator would need before a production decision.

Choose a layer-specific test

Mautic

Local/test install, isolated database and Mailhog/test mail transport. Submit one non-public form to a test contact; inspect the segment and queue without transmitting.

Activepieces CE

Manual trigger → fictional brief → optional approved test LLM draft → reviewable calendar. Cause a harmless step error; inspect it, then remove the flow and connection.

Marketing Agent OS

In an empty non-client repository, install only a few relevant skills. Ask for a cited one-week calendar and missing-evidence list; inspect the files and remove them if needed.

Loopmark

Use a disposable local data directory and low-spend test key. Keep social credentials unset; create draft content, inspect local JSON, then delete the folder.

Do not infer what was not tested

These are documented plans, not hands-on benchmark results. Production requires separate checks for consent, opt-outs, suppression, platform terms, costs, credentials, backups, monitoring and rollback.
